Carter Academy strings teacher and magnet coordinator Eun Sung Kim has been selected as the 2026 recipient of the Spec’s Charitable Foundation Award for Excellence in Music Education, an honor presented by the Houston Symphony. This prestigious award celebrates music educators who show exceptional dedication to student learning, creativity, and expanding access to high-quality music instruction.
