BIRMINGHAM – Governor Kay Ivey on Friday introduced the Carbonell family, who are actively benefiting from the CHOOSE Act, an education savings account (ESA) initiative aimed at enhancing educational opportunities for families in Alabama. The Carbonells, residents of Birmingham, are proud parents to five children, including their 8th grader, Maria, and her younger siblings, Anna, Sofia, Diego, and Miguel.
